Dr Vaughan Bertram

Vaughan is a Specialist Anaesthetist who trained through St Vincent’s Hospital, the Royal Women’s and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. He undertook a fellowship at the Royal Melbourne before completing a twelve-month overseas fellowship at Toronto General Hospital in Canada, sub-specialising in advanced airway management and head and neck anaesthesia.

Vaughan currently practises as a full-time Staff Specialist at St Vincent’s public hospital and works regularly in oral maxillofacial, ENT, and thoracic anaesthesia. He is a current ANZCA Supervisor of Training, departmental clinical ENT lead, and has a keen interest in trainee welfare and education. He also works regularly in private obstetric anaesthesia at St Vincent's Private and Epworth Freemasons, and has been a member of Associated Anaesthetists Group since 2016.

Vaughan has a young family and his time outside of work is dedicated to enjoying time with them.
